This is a little late, but here are some pics from Autumn. Fall is a most beautiful time to enjoy and take pictures. I found this year that when the sun is shining on fall leaves it is the most opportune time to get the richest colors in pictures. Many more were taken but these are my favorites out of the bunch.
First tree I've seen where only the tips were colored.
Next three pics from Dunbar Cave Park on my lunch break.

Buying Local
This year we are taking on the local food challenge a little at a time. We would love to be buying everything locally or growing it ourselves, but this is such a big change if you are accustomed to grabbing anything from the food market. The main things we have been buying from the area are honey and beef on top of many vegetables we grow in the warm seasons. This year we decided to find one food a month to buy local instead of from the grocery store where it comes from who knows where. January we started buying jams and jellies locally. From this month (Feb.) on we will be buying eggs locally. We are blessed to have a local Mennonite store which will be of much help in this venture. Also check out gogreenclarksville.com which Tim has created for Clarksvillians. There is a "buy local" link on this site.
